| To change RAM in
a desktop computer:
1. Make sure PC is off and unplugged.
2. Open the case. (every PC opens
differently)
3. Locate the RAM slots on the motherboard.
(Figure A)
4. Press tabs down to release RAM.
5. Press new RAM into the slot firmly, make
sure the tabs snap back into place.
6. Close the case.
Your computer will recognize the RAM
automatically. No configuration is needed. |
