To setup a wired router:
1. Connect a Cat5e
network cable into RJ45 output on the modem provided to you by
your
ISP. (Internet Service Provider)
2. Connect the other end
of the network cable into the RJ45 input of the router.
3. Next connect each
needed output to a network cable.
(Depending
on your router my have up to 8 output ports, all ports do not have to be
used.)
4. Connect all network
cables to each PC and/or printer or other peripheral.
5. Connect power to the
router.
